System Administrator In Chennai
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic System Administrator to join our growing team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth running of network services, servers, and workstations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's systems and data
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures
- Install and manage software and hardware updates
- Assist in network administration and provide user support
- Maintain system documentation and inventory
- Collaborate with IT teams for system upgrades and improvements
Skills Required:
- Experience with operating systems like Linux, Windows Server, or Unix
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of database management is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Freshers and candidates with up to 6 years of experience are encouraged to apply
