Working either in-house or remotely, IT Support Specialists respond to support tickets, provide guidance on software and system use, install and configure hardware, and escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary. Their focus is to deliver timely and effective tech support that keeps business operations running smoothly.

They also play a part in system upgrades, cybersecurity protocols, and maintaining documentation for IT procedures and troubleshooting steps.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
